We’re looking for energetic and knowledgeable Commentators to join us on a seasonal basis, with opportunities to work during tournaments as they happen.

Job Description:
As an Esports Commentator, you’ll be the voice of the Iron League, delivering play-by-play commentary, insightful analysis, and engaging storytelling that enhances the experience for viewers online and at live events. You’ll bring excitement to every match, help highlight player personalities, and make our tournaments unforgettable. This is a seasonal role, meaning you will be engaged when tournaments are live and active.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide live play-by-play commentary and color analysis during Iron League matches.
Deliver insightful, entertaining, and engaging commentary that connects with both casual viewers and competitive gamers.
Work alongside co-commentators, analysts, and production staff to ensure smooth broadcasts.
Research players, teams, and games ahead of events to add depth and context to commentary.
Adapt to both online streams and in-person live events.
Represent the Iron League professionally on camera and on stage.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of esports titles such as FIFA, Mortal Kombat, and/or Call of Duty, etc.
Excellent communication skills, with a clear, energetic, and confident voice.
Experience in commentary, streaming, public speaking, or related fields is a plus.
Ability to think quickly and provide entertaining, insightful analysis on the spot.
Passion for gaming and esports culture.
Availability to work seasonally, depending on tournament schedules.
