From Lackey to King - The Tournament Journey
Every champion starts as a challenger. In the Iron League, players begin in the open playoffs, battling through 3 intense matches to prove their worth. Only the most consistent rise to the group stage, where the pressure tightens and the stakes grow. From there, only the top of each group will earn a place in the knockout stage. This is the final battlefield where legends are crowned.
Conquer every phase, and you’ll rise from humble lackey to the Iron King.
The Playoffs Stage
The Playoffs Stage marks the beginning of every participant’s journey in the Iron League Championship, where each registered player must compete in 3 official best-of-three (Bo3) matches scheduled exclusively on weekends, with opponents assigned on a rolling basis and matches hosted within designated online locations depending on the game for tracking and streaming purposes; to advance, a player must achieve a minimum of 2 wins, representing a 66% success rate, while complying with all tournament protocols including timely attendance, respectful conduct, and adherence to single-account usage, as failure to meet these competitive or behavioral standards, including two no-shows, use of multiple accounts, or engagement in toxic or unsportsmanlike behavior, will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the competition.
The Group Stage
The Group Stage is the second and most strategic phase of the tournament, where qualified players from the Playoffs are randomly divided into 16 groups of 4, each player facing the other three in their group in best-of-three (Bo3) round-robin matches scheduled on weekends, with only the top player from each group (determined first by total match wins), advancing to the Knockout Stage. All matches are moderated, streamed, or recorded for review, and players are required to follow strict rules regarding punctuality, clan rotation, sportsmanship, and match integrity, as any instance of missed matches, rule violations, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in forfeiture of matches or full disqualification from the tournament.
The Knockout Stage
The Knockout Stage is the final and most intense phase of the tournament, featuring the 16 group winners in a single-elimination bracket, where each match is played in a best-of-three (Bo3) format to determine who advances through the rounds (Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Grand Final) with each duel scheduled on weekends, monitored by official moderators to ensure fair play and proper match logging, while tiebreakers such as disconnection protocols, replay conditions, or unexpected bugs are handled by tournament staff under strict review; all matches are streamed or recorded for public viewing, and players are expected to maintain peak professionalism, punctuality, and competitive integrity, as any instance of cheating, offensive behavior, or rule-breaking will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of all winnings or titles, culminating in the crowning of the ultimate champion. One player who ascends from lackey to king.
The Grand Finals
The Grand Finals is the climactic showdown of the tournament, where the two remaining champions, having conquered the Playoffs, dominated their groups, and emerged victorious through the Knockout Stage, face off in 5 best-of-three (Bo3) battle to determine who will claim the crown, with the match taking place on a specially scheduled weekend slot, streamed live with full commentary and production, hosted in a secure spot under moderator supervision to ensure fairness and adherence to all gameplay rules, and judged using official standards including tiebreaker conditions such as win margin, crown count, and replay arbitration in case of technical issues, while the finalists are expected to demonstrate not only mechanical skill and strategic mastery but also discipline, sportsmanship, and mental resilience, as the winner of this epic duel will be crowned the Iron Champion and officially complete the journey from lackey to king.
